You are what you eat

It is a cliche, however it is true "you are what you eat and even drink for that matter.
Do you have trouble controlling your weight? Can't lose that last 3-5kgs? Weight loss and weight management is 70% what you put in your mouth and 30% consistent exercise. below are a few tips to use on your journey.
  1. Stick to the outside of the supermarket where the fresh food is stored.
  2. Avoid pre made food that comes in a package.
  3. Use the new Harvard Healthy Eating Pyramid as your guide (see below).
  4. Reduce the amount you eat for every meal by a third.
  5. Exercise vigorously 4-6 days per week for at least 45min.
  6. Stop eating sugar and soft drinks, stay away from low fat products and eat balanced (30% protein, 30% good fat, 40% carbohydrate, the best carbs are fresh vegetables and fruit)
